In case you didn’t know, The Word On The Street Toronto is Canada’s largest FREE book and magazine festival, promoting great books by Canadian and Indigenous authors year-round. The festival has spread its wings, bringing virtual events to authors who also live outside Toronto and the GTA. I was part of a Kitchener-Waterloo panel featuring YA lit, graphic books, poetry and my own fiction, and we talked about sources of inspiration, writing challenges, writing during the COVID-19 pandemic and so much more, with our gracious host Caroline Topperman.
